Our Journey Begins

Welcome to Southbound Soulmates.

We’re Jas and Mat, a couple who believe that love should be an adventure, and adventure should be filled with purpose.

Our story started in July 2024 with a spark that quickly became something undeniable.

What began as a chance meeting soon grew into a deep connection and a shared dream of building a life beyond the ordinary. After months of growing together, we decided to say I do in June 2025, and to take a leap into the unknown just a few months later.

This October, we’re packing up our life, grabbing our passports, and moving from the United States to Medellín, Colombia. Why? Because we want more than routine. We want to experience the world hand in hand—to learn, to grow, and to inspire others to do the same.

Southbound Soulmates is our love letter to transformation.
